The Winter Olympics feature some of the most exhilarating sports, and bobsledding certainly stands out as a thrilling event.
Athletes sprint down an icy track, pushing a sleek sled before jumping in and racing with all their might to beat the clock.
It’s a sport that requires incredible skill and strategy, but the high speeds and steep slopes make it especially exciting and a bit daring. This year, the United States is proud to send 14 talented bobsledders to compete, adding to the spirit and excitement of the Games.
Two of the most notable participants are Frank Del Duca and Josh Williamson. As of the midpoint of the two-man bobsled final, they are currently in fourth place, merely 0.10 seconds behind the bronze medal position.
They're working hard to end a long dry spell for the U.S. in this event – the last time America took home a medal in the 2-man bobsled was a silver back in 2014.
The Sporting News tracks live results and highlights from USA's Frankie del Duca-Josh Williamson in the 2-man final.
