Olivia Dunne can’t stop smiling while beaming in joy as boyfriend Paul Skenes wins CY Young award 

Gymnast-turned-influencer Olivia Dunne recently reacted to a major honor bestowed on her boyfriend, Paul Skenes. Skenes is a pitcher who represents the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Major League Baseball [MLB].

The official Instagram page of MLB announced the winners of the prestigious CY Young award, which is given annually to the best pitchers in the Major League Baseball. Tarik Skubal of Detroit Tigers and Paul Skenes of Pittsburgh Pirates were awarded the CY Young award for this season.

The MLB also shared a reel of the player celebrating the honor with his friends and family, including Olivia Dunne, who posted multiple reactions on her Instagram story. The former LSU gymnast shared a poster of Paul Skenes on her Instagram story, as she wrote in the caption,

"Oh My Goodnesss!!!"

In the other Instagram story with the reel of Skenes' victory, she wrote in the caption,

"Much excitement"

Olivia Dunne had met Paul Skenes for the first time at the LSU, when she was involved in college gymnastics, and the baseball player had just been transferred from the Air Force Falcons.

Olivia Dunne previously opened up about her relationship with her boyfriend Paul Skenes. The couple has been dating each other since 2023.

In her conversation with the People magazine, the former LSU gymnast remarked,

"We don't restrict each other from doing things. I've been in relationships in the past like that — where it's almost like you have a leash on you, you can't do anything. He has a job to do and I have a job to do — I know that's so important for two young kids in a relationship to realize."

Dunne further added,

"So yeah, we just have a good time and it's a two-way road. I'm trying to go to as many baseball games as I can. I really just enjoy watching him and he's always on the go. He's an athlete, so I get it. I get the grind."

Olivia Dunne retired from collegiate gymnastics in April 2025. She represented the LSU Tigers from 2020 to 2025, and had led the team to their maiden NCAA title last year.
