Maddi Stewart, a repeat All-State standout guard from Tulsa school Lincoln Christian, has decided on a college choice.
Stewart, who is entering her senior season with the Bulldogs, announced on her X page that she has committed to the University of Nebraska.

— maddi_stewart10 (@MaddiStewart10) August 8, 2025Last season, Stewart averaged 14.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals along with shooting 82% from the free-throw line as she helped Lincoln Christian capture the Class 4A state title with a win against Oklahoma City Douglass. That game was also notable for the fact that it was the final game played at Oklahoma City’s historic State Fair Arena, and Stewart scored the final points in the iconic “Big House” by making two foul shots in the closing seconds.
During Lincoln Christian’s three-game state tournament run, Stewart scored a combined 43 points, including a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds in the title-game win.
In her career, Stewart - the daughter of Lincoln Christian coach Melody Stewart - has scored 1,342 points while collecting 727 rebounds, 295 assist and 202 steals.
Maddi Stewart chose Nebraska over three other finalists in Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Missouri. She had made an official visit to Oklahoma in late July, but still decided to go out-of-state. Now, she’s focused on helping get Lincoln Christian a repeat state title.
