The Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks have already gotten one trade done this season, when Connor Murphy was recently sent to the Oilers to enhance their defense.
Now, they might have another deal in the works.
TSN's Elliotte Friedman reported Wednesday night that Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach might both be in talks to head from Chicago to Edmonton in another trade before Friday's deadline.
It's not clear from Friedman's pair of posts on X whether this would be one deal involving both players, or if it would be one or the other.
Either way, it's more activity for the Oilers in attempts to upgrade their roster before the deadline passes on Friday.

Dickinson would fit well on a contending roster, The Athletic's Chris Johnston wrote earlier this week.
"A defense-first center who specializes in smothering opponents, Dickinson is ideally suited for a bottom-six role on a strong team," Johnston writes. "He’s produced strong underlying metrics for the Blackhawks this season despite being fed a steady diet of defensive-zone starts. While Dickinson doesn’t produce much offense, he can anchor a shutdown line and bring added value as a penalty killer. He’s also playing on an expiring contract."
Dach is a 23-year old center, the younger brother of Montreal's Kirby Dach.
This season, Colton Dach has nine points in 53 games, but he's a former second-round pick and a 6-foot-4 lefty-shot with some intriguing physical potential.
It'll certainly be fun to see if the Oilers keep wheeling and dealing.
