Norman Powell headlines Heat injury report vs. Raptors

The Miami Heat are on the road on Thursday night as travel to take on the Toronto Raptors in an Eastern Conference showdown.

For the Heat, they enter Thursday’s game with a 41-38 record after losing on the road to the Raptors on Tuesday night.

Now Miami will try to bounce back on Thursday as they face off against the Raptors once again in a tough road matchup.

While the Heat are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, they may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Heat list Norman Powell as questionable for Raptors game

For the Heat, they have four players listed on their injury report for Thursday’s game, including guard Norman Powell.

Miami has listed Powell as questionable due to right groin soreness and he is in danger of missing his first game since returning from a four-game absence due to an upper respiratory illness in Tuesday’s loss.

If Powell is sidelined, Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr. could both be in line for increased roles against the Raptors.

The Heat have also listed Dru Smith as questionable due to right foot soreness and he is in danger of missing the first game of Miami’s back-to-back while Terry Rozier has been ruled out as he remains away from the team.

Nikola Jovic has also been ruled out due to a left ankle sprain as he will miss his second straight game and he is expected to miss Friday’s game against the Washington Wizards as well.
