Having already bolstered their pitching staff by signing Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce, the Toronto Blue Jays continue to be linked with Kyle Tucker, considered by many to be the No. 1 free agent on the market.

Amidst all the buzz surrounding him, Tucker posted a video to Instagram on Wednesday, giving fans a sneak peek into his gruelling training regimen.

Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. commented on the video in the form of a single emoji, which was enough to send fans into overdrive.

"No way vladdy leaked the script," a fan wrote. "Do some magic!! Bring him to his new home!," another fan commented.

Earlier this year, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. signed a 14-year, $500 million contract to commit his future to Toronto.

"He is a very Blue Jays player" - insider offers his opinion on Kyle Tucker

On Dec. 3's episode of "MLB Tonight," insider Keegan Matheson spoke about Kyle Tucker's quality, and why he is a good fit for the Toronto Blue Jays.

"He is a very Blue Jays player," Matheson said. "He fits any team, I don't care who, but he does all the things the Jays really nail. That contact rate, the ability to get on base with a bit of a power threat, he's everything the Blue Jays do. "The Blue Jays do have that outfield need. George Springer has one year left on his contract and Anthony Santander is probably not a Gold Glover so they could go both ways."

Tucker is coming off a strong 2025 season, where he batted .266 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs. He helped the Chicago Cubs make it back into the postseason for the first time since 2020, earning an All-Star selection and Silver Slugger award in the process.

The outfielder is projected to secure a deal in the range of $370-400 million this winter.
