The Golden State Warriors already ruled out Steph Curry for their game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday because of the flu. Curry played through the sickness a day before in their win over the Phoenix Suns. However, the latest report about his health could be a nightmare scenario for the Warriors.
According to ESPN's Anthony Slater, Curry's symptoms worsened overnight, and he was unable to join the Warriors for their road game in Sacramento. He is getting a lot of rest since Golden State isn't set to play again until Friday in Denver for their first NBA Cup group stage game.
It's unclear if Curry will get cleared to play against the Nuggets, but there's hope that the extra day of rest is enough for the 37-year-old sharpshooter. However, it should be pointed out that Denver's altitude could be bad for someone who has just gone through the flu.

Steph Curry played through the sickness on Tuesday and looked alright for the first three quarters. He was gassed in the final period, but his teammates picked up the slack. Curry finished with 28 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Moses Moody had his best game of the season so far.
With Jimmy Butler ruled out for the rest of the second half due to a back injury, Moody contributed 24 points, five rebounds and two assists. He also did a tremendous job on Devin Booker late in the game.
Kerr had nothing but praise for the guard, who was supposed to be part of the starting lineup this season but got slowed down by a calf strain in the preseason.
