WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis spoke up about a former champion today, telling him he was not medically cleared. He confirmed that the star was injured.
Sami Zayn is not happy with Nick Aldis
Sami Zayn has been open about his issues with MFT. He had won the WWE United States Championship from Solo Sikoa before going on a run of open challenges, defending it regularly, at the cost of his own body. However, the star ended up finally losing when Ilja Dragunov returned out of nowhere to shock the star and pick up the win and the title.
Zayn has since not competed, but it has not been by his own choice. He was carrying injuries and, as a result, has not been allowed to compete. Once again, he wanted to be at ringside for the MFT's match to support Rey Fenix. In the end, he was not allowed to compete once again, as Nick Aldis told him on SmackDown that he was not medically cleared.
"Sami, look, I know it's killing you being on the sidelines, and I know you want to be there for your friends, and I know you want to get after it with the MFTs. But listen to me. You're not medically cleared. That means that if you're out there at ringside, you're a huge liability to me. The only thing I need you to do is focus on getting healthy. And Sami, all due respect, I'm not asking."Nick Aldis did not have the best time on WWE SmackDown
While the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, may have been trying his best to keep things in order on WWE SmackDown, he did not have the best luck.
With Sami Zayn trying to get involved despite not being medically cleared, R-Truth talking about the John Cena match in a massive misunderstanding, Chelsea Green cheating to become the new US Champion, and finally Drew McIntyre attacking a referee at the end of the night, it was a trying time for the star.
On top of that, Aldis has now had to suspend McIntyre.
