NFL Week 17 Coverage Map 2025: TV schedule, channel, and broadcast details

Christmas week brings the penultimate slate of games in the NFL regular season. While postseason races and draft positioning continue to add intrigue across the league, the traditional Sunday afternoon slate in Week 17 will be lighter than usual.

Instead, the NFL has shifted much of the action to the holiday period, scheduling three games on Christmas Day and two more on Saturday, alongside the usual Sunday and Monday night primetime matchups.

As is the case every week, all non-primetime games will be broadcast on either CBS or FOX at 1 p.m. ET or around 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. However, there are only nine games on the Sunday afternoon schedule this week, which is the fewest of the entire 2025 season.

Christmas Day will feature a tripleheader of NFL action, starting with the Washington Commanders taking on the Dallas Cowboys at Northwest Stadium. The Minnesota Vikings will then welcome the Detroit Lions later in the afternoon, before the spotlight shifts to an AFC West clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos to close out the day. The first two games will be streamed exclusively on Netflix, while the night game will air as part of Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football coverage.
