The Chicago Bears are going to have a busy offseason, and it has begun with a blockbuster trade with the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
According to Schefter, the Bears are trading wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills. It's a big move, and for a team trying to become a Super Bowl contender, it's an interesting move.
But, as NFL insider Jordan Schultz teased, there might be more coming in the trade front for the Bears this offseason. Ryan Poles and company aren't stopping now.
Bears might be in store for more trades this offseason
"I do not get the sense the Bears are done on the trade market," Schultz reported following the Moore trade.
The trade sending Moore to the Bills is a big one for the Bears, as it moves on from one of their top offensive playmakers when the Bears are trying to cement themselves as contenders.
But, it's a move that saves cap space and allows for Luther Burden and Rome Odunze, along with Coleston Loveland, to take over on offense.
Those are good enough receivers for Caleb Williams. But the offseason has yet to truly begin, and there's more potentially on the horizon for the Bears.
They've been linked to Maxx Crosby, the superstar pass rusher from the Las Vegas Raiders. But, with such a high asking price, it doesn't look likely that a deal will get done.

But, they could also turn to some other trade options. Maybe they pursue AJ Brown to replace Moore in the offense, though that price tag likely means they won't be a realistic suitor.
They could also go after someone like Kayvon Thibedeux, a pass rusher from the New York Giants, who's going to be a lot more affordable than Crosby.
Tremaine Edmunds is a player the Bears could trade away, and with teams needing linebacker help, the veteran might be on the move in the coming days for the Bears.
But, no matter who they end up going after, Schultz's report teases that after this Moore blockbuster with the Bills, there's more on the horizon for the Bears.
This could be a very exciting offseason, and Bears fans should pay close attention to trade rumors as the offseason gets underway. Poles might be working the phones often this offseason.
