The Baltimore Ravens are 4-1, sitting atop the AFC North with a realistic chance of getting Lamar Jackson back for Week 6.

But he's not the only player who could be back this week. Fan favorite rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane also might return to the Ravens' offense in Week 6. This Ravens' offense might be at full strength this week.

However, looking into the future a little bit, thanks probably in part to Lane's return, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler revealed that $36.75 million receiver Rashod Bateman could become a real trade candidate this Fall.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman emerges as potential trade candidate

"Another player I'm keeping an eye on is Baltimore's Rashod Bateman," Fowler writes. "Zay Flowers is the dominant wide receiver in the Ravens' offense, which means Bateman's production comes and goes."

With Bateman not an integral part of the Ravens' passing attack, it would make a lot of sense for Baltimore to trade him for draft capital if they believe in the rest of their WR room.

If Lane's return goes well and he picks up where he left off in the preseason and during training camp, when he looked poised for a breakout rookie year, then trading Bateman would make a lot of sense.

There are contenders that would surely have some interest in landing Bateman. The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Carolina Panthers, and New York Giants could be teams to watch in a potential Bateman trade.

Bateman is also signed for the next few seasons, through the 2027 season, so a team that maybe isn't a playoff contender right now could look to add Bateman to help out a young offense for the next year and a half.

Sure, the Ravens are a Super Bowl contender, and seeing such a team trade a player away wouldn't make sense.

But if the offer is right and the Ravens believe in Lane and their other WRs, a Bateman trade would make sense. That's why Fowler is keeping an eye on Bateman trade rumors, as a deal is, seemingly, something that could actually happen this Fall.
