NFL division odds update: Steelers overtake Ravens in AFC North, Eagles gain upper hand in NFC East, Chargers stalking Chiefs in AFC West

NFL divisional races are heating up as we near the final third of the 2024-25 campaign.

The AFC North deck was shuffled after the Steelers (8-2) beat the Ravens (7-4) on Sunday. The Eagles (8-2) grabbed the upper hand in the NFC East with a 26-18 win over the Commanders (7-4). Can the Chargers (7-3) track down the Chiefs (9-1) in the AFC West?

Odds to win the AFC North at DraftKings Sportsbook

The Steelers are one of the NFL's biggest surprises this year. Pittsburgh opened the season with the longest odds to win the AFC North, in the +1100 to +1200 range depending on your sportsbook.  

The Steelers have now won eight of the last nine meetings against the Ravens. That said, they face a daunting stretch to close the season, at least after they play Cleveland two of the next three weeks sandwiched around a meeting with a desperate Cincinnati team. Check out their last four games on the slate:

• Steelers at Eagles
• Steelers at Ravens 
• Chiefs at Steelers
• Bengals at Steelers 

Circle the Dec. 21 tilt at Baltimore. That could go a long way in deciding the AFC North champion.  

Pittsburgh hasn't won a playoff game since 2016. The Steelers lost to the Bills 31-17 in last season's wildcard round.

After beating the Commanders on TNF, the Eagles gained some separation in what's become a two-horse race to win the NFC East.

The Cowboys opened the season as the betting favorite (in the +110 to +120 range) to win the division. Funny how things pan out sometimes (or don't in this case), as Dallas has imploded and fallen out of playoff contention.   

Philadelphia plays at Washington on Dec. 22.

Odds to win the AFC West at Bet365 Sportsbook

Take a look at updated odds to win the AFC West at Bet365:  

The Chiefs are still a huge favorite to win the AFC West after losing for the first time this season, to the Bills on Sunday. Still, Jim Harbaugh has the Chargers humming along and within shouting distance of Kansas City.

Frankly, it'd be nice to see some type of competition in this division. The Chiefs have won eight consecutive AFC West titles. 

These two teams have yet to meet this season, and if Los Angeles can somehow muster a sweep, the division will essentially be up for grabs.
