California Gov. Gavin Newsom called Donald Trump an “invasive species” during a lengthy rant against the president and his administration at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland Thursday.

The Democratic governor said he is “living rent-free in Trump’s head,” calling himself one of the more “aggressive American politicians” standing up to the administration and touting his social media trolling as a political success.

The remarks came a day after Newsom claimed the administration sidelined him from an event by pressuring organizers to disinvite him from a planned “fireside chat.”

In what capped a jam-packed week in the Swiss resort town, Newsom also addressed comments by the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who recently referred to the governor as a “Ken doll.”

After Scott Bessent said Newsom “strikes me as Patrick Bateman meets Sparkle Beach Ken,” the California governor posted this image of Ken doll to his X account. X / @GavinNewsom
