Who needs a man when you have a best friend?
We hear Jenny Mollen, who recently split from her her husband “American Pie” star Jason Biggs, is spending the summer in the Hamptons at her longtime bestie Stacey Bendet’s luxe home.
Mollen was spotted at a glam bash over the weekend at Bendet’s Water Mill home for the designer’s brand Alice + Olivia, mingling with guests and looking “happy and in good spirits,” says a spy. At one point Mollen posed on piggy back with Bendet.
Bendet tells us that it’s “fun girl summer.”
“I’m just in that mode of, let’s be social, let’s have fun,” she told us. “I’ve got Jenny staying with me. We’re just having fun girl summer.”
The designer, who normally travels around during the season, is staying out East along with her three daughters, her daughters’ friends, and tells us, even “all the animals are girls.”
Bendet says she is intent on making the Hamptons “fun again.”
“I want the whole summer to just feel fun and light,” she explained saying that they did morning yoga with TikTok star Caleb Simpson over the weekend. And added, “We’re doing fun dinner parties.”
Bendet has even launched a “Beach Shop” collection with Christina Coniglio
“I want to bring creativity and fun and good energy out here all summer,” she told us.
Bendet says she plans to throw weekly dinner parties that will also offer up wellness.
The party — which drew Beth Stern, Simpson, “Next Gen NYC” star Ava Dash, and Spotlight magazine’s Sydney Sadick — seemed to be a kick-off of that, with guests indulging in poolside massages, IV drips and botox from from Bendet’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Jordan S. Terner.
Mollen and Biggs split in May after 18 years of marriage. The couple remains on great terms and is focused on raising their two sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12, their spokesperson previously told Page Six.
