Tino Livramento has emerged as a top summer target for Manchester City, despite Newcastle United being adamant about not selling him.
The Newcastle United full-back is reportedly on the Cityzens' four-man shortlist to replace Kyle Walker, whose future with the eight time Premier League champions looks clouded.
The update, first reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, suggests that Pep Guardiola is closely monitoring Livramento as a long-term successor.
“🚨🔵 Tino Livramento, among options under consideration at Manchester City for right back position,” Romano posted.
“There’s a four-men shortlist for that position, with City set to decide ahead of Club World Cup.”
"Kyle Walker will 100% leave the club, even if AC Milan won’t buy him."

Walker, currently on loan at AC Milan, is expected to leave Man City permanently, regardless of whether Milan activate a buy clause.
That leaves a hole in Guardiola’s backline, a role Livramento could fill.
The 21-year-old, who, joined Newcastle in August 2023 for £32 million from Southampton was seen initially as backup to England veteran Kieran Trippier in the Toons' Army.
But has grown into a first-team regular; the defender particularly earned praise for his composure, especially during spells on the left flank in Lewis Hall’s absence.

His defensive output this season includes 12 clean sheets, 50 tackles, and 89 clearances, placing him in the top percentiles for defensive actions among Premier League full-backs.
Despite City trailing Newcastle by a point with two matches left, Guardiola remains future-focused.
With the summer window opening on June 1 and a temporary 10-day window for Club World Cup participants, City are racing to finalize targets.
