The New York Giants are reportedly signing a veteran wide receiver off the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad.
According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, Big Blue is reuniting with wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins.
"A reunion: The Giants are signing Isaiah Hodgins off the Steelers’ practice squad, per source," Duggan reported. "Six weeks after this was an obvious move, but better late than never! Hodgins knows the system and will provide a reliable target to a WR room lacking reliable targets."
There were calls to sign Hodgins in the wake of the Giants losing wide receiver Malik Nabers for the season to a torn ACL, which is what Duggan is referencing in his post.
