The New England Patriots are set to play their 16th game of the 2024 season on Saturday afternoon, as they've remained at home for an AFC matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers at Gillette Stadium.
For the matchup, the Patriots have listed six players as inactive, including center Ben Brown.
Joining Brown on this list are safety Jabrill Peppers, running back Terrell Jennings, offensive lineman Sidy Sow, offensive lineman Tyrese Robinson and quarterback Joe Milton III (emergency third quarterback).
Without Brown, New England will likely turn to 2022 first-round pick Cole Strange, who is seeing the first time in over a year after suffering a torn patellar tendon against the Kansas City Chiefs last season. If Strange does line up in the middle of the offensive line, it will be the first time he's done so in his NFL career, as he's only played left guard to this point.
This could be a good fit for Strange, but it may take some time for everyone, from the rest of the line to the quarterback, to get used to it.
