WWE Superstars have been making their marks in the industry across different promotions under the new regime. Unfortunately, NXT's Hank and Tank lost the titles that they recently won at an event.
Earlier this month, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger went to Japan and competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH. The duo dominated the tag team division and won the GHC Tag Team Championship at the Star Navigation event. The duo was ready to dominate the division and had three matches in the company as champions.
Unfortunately, Hank and Tank lost the titles in less than a month. At Pro Wrestling NOAH's Cross Over event, Team 2000X, Masa Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura, defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger to reclaim the gold they lost earlier this month.
It'll be interesting to see what's next for the rising team on the developmental brand.
What's next for Hank and Tank on WWE NXT?
WWE has largely focused on the tag team division, and Triple H's new regime gave them new opportunities when they split the old titles and assigned new titles to the main roster. While The Game was busy with two brands. Shawn Michaels also gave a significant push to the tag team division when old teams began to reappear on the developmental brand in 2024.
By the end of the year, Hank and Tank captured titles outside the promotion when they won the ROW Tag Team Championship. Earlier this year, the popular duo won the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship from Fraxion and cemented their names on the white and gold brand.
After they lost the titles to DarkState, the duo spent a while on the brand and eventually appeared at Pro Wrestling NOAH. The duo now has momentum on their side, and there's a chance they'll return to NXT in the coming weeks following their title loss.
