This week's episode of AEW Dynamite is a very special show. It will be the final episode of the year. AEW has had a pretty solid year in 2025. The promotion delivered many outstanding matches. Hence, Tony Khan has planned a stacked card of matches for the show. One of the most highly anticipated matches of the show will be the National Championship bout between Ricochet and Jack Perry. Given the importance of the show, here are three shocking twists Tony Khan could pull off during the final episode of Dynamite of 2025.

#3. Jack Perry will dethrone Ricochet for the AEW National Championship

It's been a few weeks since Ricochet won the National Championship at Full Gear 2025. Since then, he has defended the title three times. At Worlds End 2025, Ricochet teamed with Gates of Agony and Josh Alexander to face the team of JetSpeed and Jurassic Express. During the bout, Jack Perry pinned Ricochet. Following this, the former TNT Champion challenged the One and Only star to a title match this week on Dynamite.

Therefore, both men will finally lock horns this week. In order to pull off a shocking move, Tony Khan should book Jack Perry to defeat the former WWE star. This title change can also help elevate Jack's career further.

#2. Josh Alexander defeats Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley has been having a terrible few weeks in AEW. It's been downhill for him since he lost the I Quit Match against Darby Allin. Following this, he tapped out to Kyle O'Reilly twice. However, the Purveyor of Violence overcame the odds and defeated Kazuchika Okada to become the new Continental Champion at Worlds End.

Now, Mox is set to face Josh Alexander on this week's episode of Dynamite. Alexander is a very good in-ring competitor and still has a lot to prove in AEW. Therefore, Tony Khan should book him to defeat Moxley this week. By doing so, Alexander can put himself in contention for a title shot. This could also help build the former TNA star up, as he has not done anything meaningful since arriving in AEW.

#1. Britt Baker returns to confront Mercedes Mone

Britt Baker was one of the pillars of AEW during the company's early years. She laid much of the groundwork for the women's division during this time. However, her star power has fizzled out over the years due to health issues and backstage politics. Baker has not competed in All Elite Wrestling since November 2024.

Britt Baker should be booked to return after Mercedes Mone successfully defends her title against Willow Nightingale. Baker could confront the CEO, setting up for a title match between the two women. This could be the perfect way for Baker to make her return to TV.
