The Brooklyn Nets will look to snap their three-game losing streak as they take on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, Jan. 12.

Brooklyn has yet to get any momentum going this season. Some injuries to players mixed with a youthful team that lacks experience have resulted in their 11-25 record so far in 2025-26.

Heading into the matchup, both teams released updates on injured players, with both teams dealing with a large list of setbacks.

Egor Demin (back), Cam Thomas (hamstring), among four out for Nets vs. Mavericks

According to the NBA's latest injury report for Monday's slate of games, the Nets will be without Egor Demin (back), Cam Thomas (hamstring), Ziaire Williams (illness), and Haywood Highsmith (knee) for Monday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Michael Porter Jr. is expected to be active and return tonight for the Nets after resting in Sunday in their loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Amid his most successful start to a month in his short career, Demin will sit out and miss his fourth game of the season while managing the back injury he's had.

In January, Demin is averaging 13.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.87 assists while shooting an impressive 53.1 percent from the three-point line.

As for Thomas, the 24-year-old has returned from the lingering hamstring issues he's dealt with this season. He's appeared in four straight games for the Nets, but won't be available in this one.

The Mavericks are also dealing with a large list of injuries.

Anthony Davis (hand), Dante Exum (knee), Kyrie Irving (knee), and Dereck Lively II (foot) are all out.

Moussa Cisse (shoulder) is probable, Daniel Gafford (ankle) and Miles Kelly (G League) are questionable, and P.J. Washington (ankle) and Brandon Williams (illness) are doubtful.
