People who have cameras around their home usually do so for one real reason… security.
So when one Aussie logged in to their home security system to check things out, they weren’t expecting to see a fellow neighbor doing the unthinkable right out the front of their home. ON their driveway.
Embarrassing footage of neighbor emerges
An Aussie living in South Australia got the shock of their life when they discovered someone had opened their bowels in their front yard.
Convinced it didn’t look like the usual dog poo, they decided to log in to their video footage to trace who the culprit was.
And it was confirmed.
It was not a dog or any other animal, but a human.
The resident was mortified to find that a woman who was walking her dog past their property at the time stopped to relieve herself on their driveway.

The incident was dated back to April 26th 2025 and the owner of the soiled home decided to take matters into their own hands after the disgusting discovery.
They erected a sign that not only warned their neighborhood of the incident, but also issued a threat of releasing the footage if they didn’t come back to clean up their mess.
“To the lady who defecated on our driveway… at approximately 7.15am this morning (26 April), while walking your dog, you were recorded on our security cameras, defecating on our private driveway,” the sign read.
“We have clear video footage of the incident. You have 48 hours to return and properly clean up the mess.
“If not, we will have no choice but to circulate photos from the footage to identify you. Please do the right thing.”
When you gotta go…
While there has been no word on whether the culprit has indeed come forward, many people had their say when the image of the sign was posted on Reddit.

“I have so many questions, but can we start with why TF would you take a dump in someone’s driveway and if it was your driveway why would you leave it there for up to 48hrs before cleaning it up?” someone asked.
“When you gotta go, you’ve gotta go, I get that but you can at least try to pick it up with a dog poop bag or come back to clean it up later. What a garbage person,” another chimed in.
Another joked: “Maybe she’s confused and thought it was her dog’s job to pick up her poo and put in a plastic bag” and others said they were getting the popcorn ready for when the footage would be released.
“You want answers I want footage,” someone laughed.
Toilet emergencies are becoming more common
Before the days of COVID had us stuck indoors, Aussies were unfortunately encountering more and more people who found themselves in the middle of a toilet emergency, forcing them to relieve themselves wherever they could in public.
In 2018, we saw the trend of the poo joggers and one woman went viral for being captured on CCTV footage in the same way this recent neighbor has been.
The Sunday Telegraph revealed at the time the woman was caught after Porters Liquor at Pyrmont found a “deposit” they initially thought was left by a large dog in its back lane.
But CCTV footage revealed that the culprit was in fact a blonde woman in activewear, wearing a backpack.
She joined other “poo joggers” who kept popping up around Australian suburbs — and it appears as though, even after some seven years, the trend of people depositing in public hasn’t gone away.
