A few familiar teams are once again sitting at the top of the national rankings heading into the 2025 NCAA women's lacrosse tournament.
North Carolina finished the regular season as the No. 1 overall team and kept its perfect record intact by winning the ACC title in a thrilling battle against Boston College. The Eagles will look to shake off the sting of that loss and reach their eighth straight national championship game.
Northwestern, Florida, Princeton and Maryland are also considered elite contenders in this year's bracket. The Wildcats won the national title in 2023 and earned a spot in the championship game last year, falling to Boston College.
The tournament is set to start on Friday, May 9, with first-round matchups. Which team will make a deep run and raise the trophy?
