Thunder-Timberwolves Prop Picks for Game 1
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 31.5 points (-115 at Bet365)
This will be the toughest defense that SGA will have faced so far in these playoffs.
Individually, he’ll get a healthy dose of Mike Conley, Jaden McDaniels, and Anthony Edwards, which was stronger than anything Memphis or Denver could throw at him.
Perhaps that’s why he’s scored a playoff-best seven 30-point games already, including four straight 30+ point performances at home, topping his 31.5 scoring line on three of those occasions.
But even with Minnesota’s defense, Gilgeous-Alexander has been a scoring machine against the T-Wolves, scoring at least 32 points in 10 of the last 11 meetings against them.
We’ll wager the beat goes on Tuesday.
Jaden McDaniels Over 13.5 points (-105 at Bet365)
McDaniels was a far more consistent offensive contributor in five games against the Warriors than he was against the Lakers.
He had more highs vs LA, with 30 and 25-point games, but he scored in double figures in every game against GState.
McDaniels has a gettable 13.5 point scoring line vs the Thunder, a number he’s topped three times in his last four playoff games.
It’s a number he’s also topped in five of the last six regular season matchups against these same Thunder.
McDaniels could very well be the most important 2-way player in this entire series.

Rudy Gobert Over 9.5 rebounds (-135 at Bet365)
As with every playoff series, we’re left to wonder if Rudy Gobert is able to stay on the floor against a specific opponent.
OKC runs through big men Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren, and Jalin Williams, so Gobert should have some opportunities to wreak havoc.
He averaged just under 10 rebounds a game against the Warriors, going for double-digit boards twice.
Gobert has had some big efforts against the Thunder, too, grabbing at least 15 rebounds in five of eight matchups since joining the Timberwolves.
The Thunder won’t go completely small in this series, so Gobert should be plenty involved from the jump.
