The NBA will once again take the show on the road. This time locking in a fresh slate of regular-season games across Europe starting in 2026. First up: the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies will go head-to-head in Berlin on January 15, followed by a matchup in London on January 18.
That’s just the start. The league also confirmed games in Manchester and Paris in 2027 and a return to Berlin and Paris in 2028. The teams for those future matchups will be announced closer to each respective season.
The 2026 Berlin game will be the NBA’s first regular-season contest in Germany. London, a more familiar host city, will see its 10th regular-season NBA game at The O2 Arena. The Manchester and Paris matchups in 2027 will both mark historic firsts, as the league continues to deepen its international roots.
Trio of Germans
The Orlando Magic roster is loaded with global and local appeal. The team features All-Star Paolo Banchero and three German players: Franz Wagner, Moritz Wagner, and rookie Tristan da Silva. Defensive standout Jalen Suggs and sharpshooter Desmond Bane round out a deep lineup.

The Grizzlies bring star power of their own. Ja Morant headlines the squad, supported by former Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. newcomer NBA champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The young core includes rising talents like Zach Edey, Jaylen Wells, and rookie Cedric Coward.
For Franz and Moritz Wagner, playing an NBA game in their hometown of Berlin is personal. “Growing up here, we dreamed of moments like this,” they said in a joint statement. “We hope we can inspire kids the same way we were inspired.”
Experience Overseas
The NBA isn’t just sending players overseas, it’s bringing the full experience. Events in Berlin and London will include youth clinics, coaching programs, community outreach, and fan activities under the NBA Cares banner.
More details will be announced soon on the game, but fans can start their excitement now for this great matchup!
