Paul George returned to the court for the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.
Following a shorthanded beatdown, the Sixers looked to bounce back against the Milwaukee Bucks. They landed a vintage performance from George, who had one of his strongest showings of the year.
In 33 minutes of action, George shot 11-21 from the field and hit on 9-15 shots from three. He scored 32 points, dialing the clock back in the scoring department.
Beyond his shooting, George produced five assists, five rebounds, and two steals.

It’s no secret that George has a lot to prove after the way his first season with the Sixers played out.
As George battled setbacks throughout the 2024-2025 NBA season, he managed to play in just 41 games. He averaged 16.2 points per game, making just 35 percent of his threes. George failed to make the All-Star team after making it two years in a row.
While George hasn’t inserted himself back into the All-Star picture during his second season With the Sixers, he’s been much more consistent.
In the 25 games leading up to Tuesday’s action, George has been posting averages of 15.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. He is shooting 41 percent from the field and 36 percent from three on the year.
Considering George inked a max deal with the Sixers last season, there is a lot of pressure for him to live up to the hype of that contract. However, the Sixers have been satisfied with what he’s brought to the table so far this season, as he’s fit in with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and the rookie VJ Edecombe.
After Tuesday’s 139-122 victory for the Sixers, Philly moves to 24-21 on the year. They’ll return to the court on Thursday night to host the Sacramento Kings.
