The NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race is the 36th and the final race of the 2025 season. It is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, and the green flag will drop at 3 p.m. ET.

The one-mile-long track features nine degrees of banking in the frontstretch, three degrees of banking in the backstretch, nine degrees of banking in turns 1 and 2, and 11 degrees of banking in turns 3 and 4. Phoenix currently hosts the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Truck Series. Thirty-six drivers have entered for 37 spots in the 38th edition of the Championship Race.

Heading to the Phoenix Raceway, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin is the favorite at +340 odds to win this year’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Previously, Hamlin made it into the Champ 4 in 2014, 2019, 2020, and 2021 and hasn’t finished better than third among the four finalists in any of those years, but this time he will look to clinch his maiden Cup Series title.

Championship contender William Byron, who reached into the final 4 race for the first time, has the second-highest odds at +430 to win the 2025 championship.

They are followed by the final 4 drivers, Kyle Larson at +500 and Chase Briscoe at +650, in the top four most likely to win the Championship Race. Larson has the opportunity to win his second Cup Series title, while Briscoe will aim to win in his first season with Joe Gibbs Racing.

Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney has the fifth-highest odds at +700 to win the Phoenix championship race.
