The Washington Mystics are heading to the playoffs for the first time since 2023! The young team looks to take down the reigning champions and other contenders in the WNBA Playoffs.
Washington last won the WNBA Finals in 2019. A lot has changed since then, with the organization undergoing a true youth movement.
The Mystics are led by the dynamic trio of Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, and Shakira Austin, aka "The C.I.A.” After missing last season due to injury, Georgia Amoore has slowly become a force. Meanwhile, top draft pick Lauren Betts continues to grow with the team.
It's a tall task for a young squad to succeed, but Washington will try to do so in the first round against the Dream.
