On October 24, Spotify released its earnings report, highlighting the biggest hits from all the countries in 2025, and BTS' Jimin's solo track, Who, stands as the highest-earning song from South Korea. Following the song's release, it garnered over $8.16 million on Spotify this year, which also made Who grab the eighth rank on the top 10 highest-earning local tracks across the world.
This new achievement of Jimin also comes close to the ten-year Spotify earnings of the famous Alan Walker song, Faded, which has earned around $9 million on Spotify since 2014. This also makes Who by Jimin the only track by a Korean soloist to be featured in the study. When this news landed on the internet, fans and netizens swelled with pride.

All you need to know about BTS' Jimin and his solo activities
BTS' Jimin, otherwise known as Park Ji-min, is a South Korean singer and dancer who debuted under BigHit Entertainment, now rebranded as HYBE Labels, in 2013. He stands as a lead vocalist and main dancer of the K-pop boy group, and apart from his activities as a BTS member, he has also established a solo career on the sidelines.
Along with the solo tracks he released through BTS albums like Serendipity, Lie, Filter, etc., he also put forth a few independent songs through SoundCloud, such as Promise, Christmas Love, and more. However, his official solo debut was in March 2023 with the release of his first solo studio album, FACE, which held the songs Like Crazy and Set Me Free Pt. 2 as its title track.
Following the same, around December of the same year, the idol enlisted in the military for his mandatory service. He entered through the Buddy System along with his fellow BTS member, Jungkook. Regardless of his enlistment, the idol put forth his second studio album, MUSE, with the song Who standing as the title track.
Around June 2025, both Jungkook and Jimin were discharged from the military. Following his return to the industry, the idol has been spending his time reuniting with his bandmates and also reconnecting with ARMYs through Weverse livestreams and social media posts. Most recently, on October 1, the idol attended the 2025 Paris Fashion Week for the Dior Spring/Summer 2026 Women's fashion show as the luxury brand's ambassador.
On the other hand, all the BTS members are currently working towards the preparation of their next group album, which is expected to be released in Spring 2026.
