A marquee FCS matchup awaits Saturday night as No. 18 Northern Arizona visits No. 1 Montana State.
The Bobcats had a scare against Central Connecticut State last week, rallying from a 14-point deficit in the second half to prevail 35-30 for their 18th consecutive win as Justin Lamson and Adam Jones sparked the offense after halftime. The reigning national champions will need to regain their edge against NAU.
The Lumberjacks sit at 3-1 with their only defeat coming at Arizona. While QB Ty Pennington hasn't been as sharp so far as he was last season, he has plenty of experience and NAU's defense has been a difference-maker.
