Moment EV erupts in flames and explodes while charging

A Chinese electric SUV suddenly burst into flames while charging at a station in Ningbo, China on Aug 9, sending sparks and thick black smoke into the air as nearby drivers scrambled to get away. The vehicle then produced several loud blasts before firefighters arrived to battle the blaze. Officials said the SUV had previously been involved in a serious crash and had not been repaired at an authorized service center.
