The Boston Red Sox made a controversial decision last week when they traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants.
They brought back pitchers Jordan Hicks and Kyle Harrison, as well as two prospects, and Devers was reportedly unhappy in Boston.
However, the move was not a popular one, and fans of the Red Sox voiced their discontent.
On Monday, MLB insider Jon Heyman commented on the trade and gave a surprising response about what the Red Sox got back in return.
"I think they did great," Heyman said. "If you're just talking about the trade, and that's all, I give them an A+.

This is certainly a controversial take from Heyman. The Red Sox didn't get anything substantial in return for Devers.
It's important to note that Boston was able to shed the entirety of his remaining salary, as the Giants are now paying the rest of the deal. This likely impacted the return.
At the same time, it isn't as though Boston didn't get anything at all in return. They also had an unhappy camper on their hands and needed to address the situation.
But giving the deal an A+ is certainly bold, and that take likely isn't going to sit well with Red Sox fans who were shocked to the core about the trade.
Boston is still in the mix for a postseason spot. At 40-39, they are just a half-game back of the final American League Wild Card spot. They even managed to win a series against the Seattle Mariners after the trade was completed.
The Red Sox could end up being buyers at the trade deadline and make a push for a postseason spot. But Red Sox fans are still understandably frustrated with what took place.
