As baseball's stars descend on Citizens Bank Park, eight sluggers have the chance to light up the Philadelphia night with the home run ball on Monday.
The Home Run Derby features two hometown favorites, a rookie who quickly emerged as one of the best power hitters in baseball, an MVP contender and more, with a $1 million prize on the line.
Outside of the Phillies' derby duo, this year's field features plenty of youth — and the youngest of the bunch already proved last year that he is built for this stage.
Here's a complete look at the 2026 Home Run Derby lineup.

2026 MLB Home Run Derby participants
Jac Caglianone, Royals
- Age: 23
- Appearance: 1st
- HRs in 2026: 15
- Career HRs: 22
Just two years after being drafted, young Royals outfielder Jac Caglianone will participate in his first Home Run Derby.
Caglianone might have rushed to the big leagues in 2025, as he hit just .157 over 62 games, but he's progressed from one of baseball's worst hitters to an above-average bat this season with 15 home runs and a .785 OPS through 89 games. Caglianone has 10 home runs and a .912 OPS since the start of June, so he enters the Home Run Derby red hot.
While 15 home runs might not jump off the page, only 12 hitters have more "no doubter" home runs than Caglianone this season, according to Statcast. When he hits them, he tends to hit them far. Caglianone is hoping to be the Royals' first-ever derby winner.
Junior Caminero, Rays
- Age: 23
- Appearance: 2nd
- HRs in 2026: 28
- Career HRs: 80
Rays third baseman Junior Caminero is even younger than Caglianone, but he has emerged as one of baseball's best all-around bats. Caminero finished his first full MLB season with 45 home runs and 110 RBI in 2025, and any fears that he simply benefitted from the Rays' temporary home in a minor-league stadium have been quashed this year.
Caminero is hitting .281 with 28 home runs and a .933 OPS through 93 games, with 13 of those home runs coming in an otherworldly 17-game stretch between late June and early July. That tear made Caminero an MVP candidate in a wide open AL race.
This is Caminero's second derby appearance, as he was the runner-up to Cal Raleigh in Atlanta last year with an impressive performance just days after he turned 22.

Willson Contreras, Red Sox
- Age: 34
- Appearance: 1st
- HRs in 2026: 20
- Career HRs: 192
Red Sox first baseman Willson Contreras isn't viewed as a traditional power hitter, but he's on track to shatter his career-high of 24 home runs with 20 through his first half of a season with the Red Sox.
Contreras was a bright spot during otherwise dark times in Boston early this season, carrying a .921 OPS through 88 games and hitting what would be a career-best .285. The former Cubs and Cardinals slugger is closing in on 200 home runs and made it clear before any MLB announcement that he wanted to participate in the derby.
Contreras is the first Red Sox hitter in the Home Run Derby since David Ortiz in 2011.
Bryce Harper, Phillies
- Age: 33
- Appearance: 3rd
- HRs in 2026: 20
- Career HRs: 383
Bryce Harper is already one of three players to win the Home Run Derby in his home ballpark. On Monday, he'll have the chance to do it again.
The two-time MVP, in the midst of another strong season at the plate with 20 home runs and an .869 OPS, agreed to participate in the derby for the third time in his career, giving him the opportunity to put on a show in front of the home fans eight years after he won a derby crown at Nationals Park.
The only former winner in the field, Harper leads all derby participants with 383 career home runs.

Munetaka Murakami, White Sox
- Age: 26
- Appearance: 1st
- HRs in 2026: 20
- Career HRs: 20
White Sox first baseman Munetaka Murakami ranked among baseball's home run leaders through the opening two months of the season, but a hamstring injury kept him off the field from late May until his return on Friday. Despite just coming off the IL this past weekend, Murakami is giving the Home Run Derby a shot in his rookie season.
The White Sox took a chance on Murakami this offseason as teams had concerns about his strikeout rate and lack of a true position in Japan, and they have been rewarded to this point with the 26-year-old's power overshadowing those concerns. If Murakami is healthy, he could put on a show in Philadelphia.
Ben Rice, Yankees
- Age: 27
- Appearance: 1st
- HRs in 2026: 29
- Career HRs: 62
Ben Rice has been a savior for the Yankees this season, turning in an All-Star season with 29 home runs and a .971 OPS in the first half. Rice heated up again in the week leading up to the All-Star break, reaching base 13 times in a five-game stretch, and he could even get some MVP buzz if he can keep this up in the second half.
Rice brings a great story to the Home Run Derby, as he was a 12th-round pick out of Dartmouth in 2021 after most of his college career was wiped out by the Ivy League's strict COVID-19 policies before working his way through the ranks in the Yankees' system and going from a desperation call-up in 2024 to an essential piece in 2026.

Kyle Schwarber, Phillies
- Age: 33
- Appearance: 3rd
- HRs in 2026: 32
- Career HRs: 372
The Phillies will have two hometown favorites in the Home Run Derby, as Kyle Schwarber will take aim at his first win at Citizens Bank Park amid another dominant power-hitting season.
Schwarber already has 32 home runs, putting 50 in his sights and 60 at least on the table. The veteran finished second in MVP voting last season with 56 home runs, and his numbers this year are right in line with just about all of his 2025 marks.
Schwarber is making his third derby appearance, as he finished as the runner-up to Harper in Washington D.C. in 2018 and lost to Albert Pujols in the first round at Dodger Stadium in 2022.
Jordan Walker, Cardinals
- Age: 24
- Appearance: 1st
- HRs in 2026: 22
- Career HRs: 49
The Cardinals deserve credit for sticking with Jordan Walker, who posted a -2.6 WAR over his first three seasons despite being a former top prospect. Walker landed an everyday role to start this season and has become the player St. Louis hoped he would be, hitting .294 with 22 home runs and an .887 OPS through the first 92 games.
Walker will go into the derby as an underdog, but he's the first Cardinals participant since 2022 and can become St. Louis' first-ever derby winner.
