Jon Elmore didn't get a chance to show what he could do in the Los Angeles Lakers' first NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas.
On Saturday, though, Elmore got to play, and in 19 minutes, he proved he can contend with the rest of the players in these games.
Elmore is 30 years old, balding, and not your typical-looking NBA player.
But his skills? He's a bucket.
He was a legend at Marshall University and his filled it up in various places around the world since college.
Elmore has never played an NBA game, although he was very good in the G League last season for the Stockton Kings.
On Saturday night, he took three shots, all from beyond the arc, and hit two of them.

He filled the stat sheet beyond his six points. Elmore had five assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
He turned it over just once, and he was a plus-16 in his 19 minutes.
A guy like Elmore playing at Summer League isn't just trying to impress the Lakers. He's hoping to catch the eye of someone from any of the NBA's teams.
If he keeps playing like that, he'll have a chance.
