AEW star MJF called out Tony Khan after he captured the AEW World Championship last week. The Worlds End pay-per-view ended with a massive title change. The Salt of the Earth had returned a few days ahead of the show and cashed in his guaranteed world title contract.

Despite being ambushed by Samoa Joe, Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland, he managed to win the AEW World Championship. Just days after his win, Tony Khan announced that the two-time AEW World Champion will be on Dynamite's New Year's Smash.

MJF was seemingly upset with the fact that he had to travel to Nebraska for the upcoming edition of Dynamite. He took to X and asked Tony Khan for a bonus.

"So I win the world title by beating three of the toughest guys in AEW. Further proving I’m hands down the greatest wrestler on gods green earth. And my present on New Year’s Eve!…. I get to travel to (checks notes)……….Omaha Nebraska. @TonyKhan, I demand a bonus," he wrote.

AEW star MJF talks about his biggest regret

Maxwell and John Cena had multiple encounters in the past couple of years, mostly during different movie premieres.

On Mostly Sports, MJF said he wanted to wrestle the Cenation Leader, but now that he's retired, that will not be possible. Friedman also revealed that the WWE Legend watches AEW.

"Yes, absolutely. I think that there is a different world where that match would've happened. Unfortunately, it's not this one. I've had so many incredible run-ins with John where we've shot the s**t. He's an incredible guy. He watches our product. He's seen my stuff. He's very complimentary. Obviously, I'm super complimentary to him. I've said it before in other interviews, but before CM Punk, my favorite wrestler growing up as a kid was John Cena," he said.

It will be interesting to see what Maxwell has to say on the upcoming edition of Dynamite.
