Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is one of the biggest professional wrestling stars in the current day and age. He is a former AEW World Champion, and it appears that he will regain this title soon.

The Salt of the Earth was on a hiatus for several months. However, he made a shocking return on this week's Dynamite, which was held in Manchester, England. Friedman interrupted the AEW World Championship match contract signing between Swerve Strickland, "Hangman" Adam Page, and Samoa Joe. Furthermore, he executed his Casino Gauntlet contract, turning the upcoming world title showdown at Worlds End into a four-way match.

There is a strong possibility that MJF will become the new world champion at the upcoming pay-per-view. He is quite confident, and there is a never-before-seen fire in his eyes. He feels fearless, and he sent a scary message to his Worlds End opponents on X a few hours back.

"I remembered. You’re all f*cked," he wrote.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman's last match in AEW took place at All Out 2025, where he was defeated by the reigning TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe, in a Tables N' Tacks match. Hopefully, he will emerge victorious in the upcoming title match.

MJF could join WWE if he receives a good offer

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp recently stated that, despite Maxwell Jacob Friedman having spent seven years in AEW, he remains ultimately loyal to himself and his family. If WWE offered him a huge amount of money, he could join them.

"MJF has been loyal to AEW for seven years. But ultimately, he's loyal to himself, his family, his dad, his mom, Alicia. Like, that's who he's loyal to. If WWE comes along and makes an insane offer, allows him to continue his movie career, there's an option there." he said.

It would be interesting to see the former AEW World Champion work for Triple H. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
