Mitch Marner wife Stephanie and son Miles rock 'The Hangover'-inspired costumes for their first Halloween in Las Vegas

This year, Vegas Golden Knights forward Mitch Marner and his family went all in on humor for their first Halloween in Las Vegas dressing up as characters from the movie “The Hangover”.

Marner donned a red plaid shirt and clear glasses to portray Phil, while his wife Stephanie Marner took on Zach Galifianakis’ iconic Alan look complete with a beard, aviator sunglasses and a baby carrier. Their six-month-old son Miles was dressed “baby Carlos” wearing tiny sunglasses and a blue onesie.

One fan reposted a family click featuring the Marners’ Halloween look on X, with the caption:

“The marners dressing up as the hangover on their first halloween in vegas.... comedy”

The family’s first Halloween in Nevada comes just months after Marner’s high-profile trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Vegas Golden Knights this summer. On July 1 Toronto signed Marner to an eight-year, $96 million contract before completing a sign-and-trade deal that sent him to Vegas in exchange for forward Nicolas Roy. The move allowed Marner to secure a full-term extension while giving Vegas a proven offensive playmaker fresh off a 102-point season.

The 28-year-old winger previously spent his entire career in Toronto after being drafted fourth overall in 2015.

Stephanie and Mitch Marner celebrated their second wedding anniversary this year

Earlier this year in June, Mitch Marner and his wife Stephanie celebrated their second wedding anniversary with a romantic throwback on social media. Stephanie shared a sweet Instagram story featuring a collection of moments from their wedding day and beyond, which Marner later reposted to his own account.

The six-photo collage featured a look back at the couple’s 2023 wedding at Peller Estates Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

One image showed the pair sharing a quiet moment beneath a floral arch with Stephanie in a flowing strapless gown and Marner in a navy blue suit. Another captured the NHL star carrying his bride through a vineyard in full bridal style. A black-and-white photo revealed the couple from behind wearing matching custom jerseys labeled “The Marners” with the number 23.

“Happy 2 year anniversary my love! love doing this crazy life with you 🤍🫶,” read the caption of the story.

The set also included a golden-hour portrait, a candid shot of the two leaning into each other and a playful photo booth frame from their afterparty.

Marner and Stephanie LaChance met growing up in Markham, Ontario, began dating in their late teens and got engaged in June 2021 at their Muskoka cottage. They were married in July 2023 in a vineyard ceremony surrounded by family and teammates.

Their son Miles Daniel Marner born in May this year is their first child together.
