All 49 participating teams for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be determined in the months ahead of the tournament. However, all three host countries – USA, Mexico and Canada – have secured their automatic bids to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

A handful of other squads have also qualified, including Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Cabo Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, New Zealand and England.

Groups will be finalized at the draw on December 5.
