Minneapolis officials said that they are looking into a reported “shooting involving federal law enforcement” in the northern part of the Twin Cities on Wednesday evening.
The City of Minneapolis shared a post on X saying it was “aware of reports” of a shooting in North Minneapolis and was “working to confirm details.”
Officials are investigating a reported “shooting involving federal law enforcement” in Minnesota. APKARE reported that federal agents swarmed around North Lyndale Avenue and 25th Avenue, which is near a 21-acre park.
The shooting comes just one week after Renee Nicole Good, 37, was gunned down by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross after she allegedly tried to “weaponize” her vehicle against federal agents at a protest near her Minneapolis home.
“We are aware of reports of a shooting involving federal law enforcement in North Minneapolis,” the Minneapolis Police Department said in a statement. “We are working to confirm additional details.”
