Noah Cyrus Addresses Family Dynamics in Emotional Song “Don’t Put It All on Me”

Miley Cyrus' sister wanted the best of both worlds with one of her Hannah Montana costars.

Noah Cyrus admitted to having a childhood crush on Mitchel Musso, who played her sibling's onscreen best friend Oliver Oken in the Disney Channel series, sharing a throwback photo of her younger self hugging the actor from behind.

"Me at the ripe age of 5 yrs old," Noah, now 25, wrote on TikTok May 11, "thinking Mitchell [sic] Musso wanted a piece of that."

But it's clear that her heart now belongs to somebody else. After all, the "July" singer has been engaged to designer Pinkus since 2023.

"I never thought I would ever meet a man like you or someone so selfless and filled with so much love to give," she wrote in an Instagram tribute to her fiancé at the time. "You're the least judge mental [sic] l human being I've ever met. the most talented, the most loyal, the kindest person."

Noah continued, "I've never felt more loved or in love. I now know the feeling of forever not being long enough. I'm so excited to spend this life with you, our life so far is a life I never thought I deserved or would live."

And mom Tish Cyrus has already given Pinkus her seal of approval. As Noah noted during an April episode of the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, "My fiancé and my mom are really close."

“I love that so much because my past boyfriends, my mom has not been close with," she explained. "We got through it, and now I’m with a nice, little German man."

As for Mitchel? The 33-year-old has not been as open about his personal life in recent years, though he did share some photos from his Hannah Montana days in a 2018 Instagram post. One of the snapshots showed Mitchel and his brother Marc Musso at a dinner with Noah, Miley and costar Emily Osment.

"My mom found these photos," he wrote in the caption. "I’m glad she did. Other then [sic] the fedora. Who tf let me wear a fedora."
