There were times this season when Mikal Bridges looked uneasy, perhaps even unhappy, and you were wondering whether he needed a shooting coach or a psychologist.
Then there were times, especially in these playoffs, when Bridges looked remarkable with the Knicks — elated on the court and in the locker room.
Many assumed Bridges’ transition to the Knicks would be seamless because of the Villanova connection and since he was already playing in NYC with the Nets.
But maybe that was unfair. So I asked Bridges on Monday morning if there was indeed a process and whether he now felt more comfortable about his new situation.
