The Dodgers announced that Rojas was no longer available for Tuesday's matchup due to a "family matter." At the time, the team didn't provide any additional information.

Rojas was not in the lineup for Monday's contest, but he still ended up playing.

Rojas has been a mainstay on the Dodgers' elite lineup. So far, he's played in seven games and has slashed .263/.250/.316 with a .566 OPS. Rojas has tallied five hits, one run scored, and one RBI in 19 at-bats thus far in the young season.

The 37-year-old was the team's World Series hero against the Blue Jays in the legendary battle for the Commissioner's Trophy last season. Rojas hit the home run of his life in Game 7 of the World Series in 2025. With Los Angeles being down to their final two outs in the ninth inning, Rojas approached the plate, battled in the at-bat and hit a game-tying home run off Blue Jays closer, Jeff Hoffman.

"It's not like playing in front of our fans, it's playing in front of the whole city that was hopeful to win a World Series," Rojas said to MLB.com. "I'm expecting, for the first time in my life, to get booed when I play there."

Dodgers Offense Leading the Way Early

The Dodgers are on a roll early this season. They sit with the best record in baseball at 9-2 despite the fact that their best hitters are not producing up to their usual standard.

Still, the Dodgers are leading the league in home runs (21), runs scored (72) and OPS (.889).
