The Michigan Wolverines are headed back to the Final Four for the third time since the 2013. This comes following their route over Tennessee in the Elite 8, winning by 33 points in a 95-62 victory.

Leading the way for them was star senior, Yaxel Lendeborg, who finished the game with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. Lendeborg has been on fire throughout the tournament, averaging 21 ppg, 7.3 rpg, and 4.3 apg. Michigan has also won three of their four March Madness games by 20+ points.

Michigan won their previous two Final Four appearances with a win over Loyola Chicago in 2018 and over Syracuse in 2013. Overall, this will be their ninth trip to the Final Four, where they have a 7-1 record in their previous eight appearances.

This will also be the highest scoring Michigan team to make it to the Final Four in their last five trips to the semifinal, averaging 87.5 ppg and only their second time making it as a 1-seed in the tournament. They have one national title in history, dating back to 1989, led by Glen Rice.
