Michelle Obama’s ‘intimate and candid’ fashion book ‘The Look’ is available for pre-order

Michelle Obama is looking back at her most iconic looks.

The former first lady is releasing her fifth book on Nov. 4: a fashion tome titled “The Look,” which is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

“During our family’s time in the White House, the way I looked was constantly being dissected — what I wore, how my hair was styled,” Obama wrote on Instagram when announcing the project.

“For a while now, I’ve been wanting to reclaim more of that story, to share it in my own way,” she added.

Her resulting 287-page hardcover is filled with over 200 photos of some of her most famous moments — plus commentary from her stylist and co-author, Meredith Koop, and other members of her go-to glam team.

The project spans everything from more recent viral moments to the Jason Wu dress she wore for husband Barack Obama’s first inauguration ball in 2008.

“I thought about who was gonna do my inaugural gown, and someone like Jason Wu … he had just gotten started [and] is a fabulous designer with a beautiful story, an immigrant American,” the former FLOTUS said on “Good Morning America” this week.

But while the book — billed as “intimate and candid” on Amazon — is filled with memories of Mrs. Obama’s time on Pennsylvania Avenue, she told Robin Roberts it was important to her to release it well after that chapter closed.

“During my eight years in the White House, although there was a lot of attention given to my fashion, my physical appearance, all of that, I made it a point to shy away from that conversation, because I was worried that it would become a distraction,” she explained.

While pre-orders will automatically ship on the release date, Obama’s other books — including “Becoming” and “The Light We Carry” — are also currently available to shop on Amazon.
