Hailey Bieber revealed that she prepped for walking the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on May 5 by plunging her face into a freezing cold ice bath.
Hailey Bieber Steps Out in Nothing But a Blazer In Her First Met Gala Appearance in 3 Years
Hailey Bieber is sharing her rhode to getting glam for the 2025 Met Gala.
The Rhode Skin founder revealed the steps she took to get red-carpet ready ahead of her arrival on the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps in New York City May 5, and her routine included a chill-inducing facial care technique. (For more stars who showed out at the 2025 Met Gala, click here.)
In a video shared to her TikTok May 6, Hailey filmed her skincare routine for fashion's biggest night, which kicked off with her dunking her face into giant bowl of ice water and holding it there for several seconds. Atop the clip of her taking the plunge, the 28-year-old wrote simply, "Facial Ice Bath."
As for what else Hailey—who shares son Jack Blues Bieber, 8 months, with husband Justin Bieber—did before posing for cameras on the iconic Met steps? She covered her face in a thick "depuffing" moisturizer before applying a hydrating sheet mask to lock in all of the moisture.
But perfecting her skin wasn't the only way Hailey geared up for the annual gala, which was led by co-chairs A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo and Anna Wintour, as well as honorary co-chair LeBron James.
In addition to keeping her skin clear and plump, the model concocted herself a delicious martini to drink while heading from her hotel to the museum.

“One thing about me,” Hailey wrote on her Instagram Stories May 5, alongside a photo of her holding her to-go cocktail, “is I’m gonna wear a blazer and drink a martini.”
And all that preparation certainly paid off. After all, Hailey stunned at the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style"-themed event in a dazzling black Saint Laurent mini dress, tights, platform heels and a statement diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co.
"I'm just excited," Hailey told Vogue of her mindset going into the haute couture fundraiser. "It's always a really fun night, and then the after stuff is always really fun."
