“Messing with dada": Shane Bieber's wife Kara's adorable date with Jays’ ace and baby Kav melts hearts

Shane Bieber's wife, Kara, shared a sneak peek of her lunch date with their baby boy, Kav. Kara wore a loose, flowy, sheer plaid poncho-style top in a muted yellow tone, paired with mid-wash blue jeans in her Instagram story.

Another story highlights a clip of Bieber playing with Kav in the restaurant. The second photo features a family moment with Kara holding Kav on Bieber’s shoulder.

Kara and Bieber met on the Alumni weekend in Santa Barbara. They reportedly started dating in 2017 and got married in 2023 in Malibu. Bieber once told CityLifestyle: “Being a dad is number one.”

The couple welcomed their first baby in March 2025.

Kara started a clothing brand, Kinlike, to bring women together. She started another brand, Telt Skincare, with her sister. She said on her ventures:

"I love having things of my own outside of Shane’s career."

Kara posted a World Series 2025 photo dump on Instagram after the Blue Jays' Fall Classic defeat against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The post features Kara wrapped around like a child in Bieber’s arms.

"For me, this is a story of falling in love with baseball again - the team, the women, the players, the fans, the staff, all of it," Kara captioned her post."I’m so thankful. I’d be lying if I said the outcome doesn’t hurt, but I can’t help but feel so proud of my husband and his teammates. What a year it’s been, from TJ surgery, to having Kav, to getting traded mid-season. God really does work in mysterious ways." ".......We felt so welcomed from the moment we got to Canada. Bieber had Tommy John surgery in April 2024, and after completing his rehab, he expressed how his family helped him stay grounded. He was traded to Toronto by the Cleveland Guardians at the trade deadline in July.

Earlier this month, Bieber announced he will remain with the Toronto Blue Jays for the 2026 season after exercising his $16 million player option.
