Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross separating after 9 years: ‘Sad to end this chapter in our lives’

Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross are separating after nine years together.

“Although it’s sad to end this chapter in our lives, we are blessed with a beautiful son and will continue to be the best parents possible,” Gibson and Ross told People in a joint statement Tuesday.

The exes, who split up about a year ago, plan to co-parent their 8-year-old son Lars.
