She’s making money moves!
Meghan Markle is planning to add hotels and restaurants to her growing lifestyle brand, As Ever, after trademarking it for “hospitality services.”
According to documents obtained by Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex is expanding her business to add “hospitality services in the nature of provision of food and drink” and “hospitality services in the nature of provision of temporary accommodation.”
The Sun was the first to report the news.
Page Six has reached out to Markle’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The former “Suits” actress, 43, launched As Ever in February after facing several trademark issues with its former name, American Riviera Orchard.

That month, the owner of a family-run New York City clothing brand named As Ever spoke out, saying that he was “exploring all possibilities” about the name snafu.
However, the owner admitted to not owning the trademark to As Ever.
Additionally, Xisca Mora, a politician in Spain, reportedly said she was considering suing Markle for plagiarizing one of the country’s coats of arms for As Ever’s logo.
In April, the mom of two finally released her first line of products under her new lifestyle brand, including a $28 jar of wildflower honey, $15 flower sprinkles, a $14 crepe mix, $12 teas and more.
All of the items sold out in less than an hour, and some unlucky shoppers purchased the wildflower honey with honeycomb when it was already out of stock.
However, Markle’s company issued refunds and she wrote a personal message to the buyers, telling them they would receive her next limited-edition item in the mail “as a gift from me.”
Aside from her As Ever brand, Markle has also been juggling filming for her show “With Love, Meghan,” and recording her weekly podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder.”
