In a world full of bad news, we like to focus on the good news: cats getting adopted.

One experience that I have had, as someone who is online a lot, is that the online world seems to be getting more and more toxic every day. The timeline is just kind of… negative. And I can't take it anymore. It's time for that to change. And as someone whose job it is to look up the pawsitive things online, I've decided to share my best findings. That's what brings me here. It is officially time to revive my favorite ICanHasCheezburger segment of all time: the newly adopted faces of the week.

Because when the timeline is so glum and full of bad news, we need to focus on the good news. And there is nothing more wholesome and uplifting than a bunch of stories of cats getting adopted. Real stories, by real people, with real cats. None of the fake stuff here. There are so many cats looking for forever homes, so many wholesome stories to tell. If we worked hard enough, we could flood the internet with good news of adorable cats being loved, and the bad news would not stand a chance. But for now, we'll start small. If these stories can make even one person smile, then I've done my job successfully.
