Gather round, witches and wizards, the month of adoring black cats has arrived!
October always makes me extra happy. Not just because it's my birth month, and not even because it's my daughter's birth month - but because I raise a black cat. And it's a known fact that October, in its Spooktober form, is the month to adore, worship, and get lost in that void spell they cast on all of us. If you're a black cat pawrent like me, you already know the truth - every time of the year is a good time to adore our meowgical and mysterious catto overlords, our dark meownarchs. But now, when October is here, it's time to spread the word worldwide.
But what's there to love about black cats so much? You might ask if you have zero clue how amazing black cats are. Their fur is like a dark blanket of fluffy secrets, their eyes are like two lanterns illuminating the shadows, and their entire demeanor is that of regal princes and princesses (except for those times they revert to acting like the dumbest orange cats, because… it just happens to them from time to time). Black cats are absolutely ameowzing, and if I'm really honest - I think they're the superior kind of cat. Yes, there, I said it.
Prepare your wands and cloaks, fellow feline fanatics who adore the dark arts, because it's about to get magical in here. The dark arts themselves are making an October parade right here, demonstrating their pure purring selves with purride. Black cats are the kings and queens of Orctober, and we're only here to make sure every person knows this. So bow, fellow feline fans, because this month's meownarchs are here. And if you're good, they'd bestow the sweet spell of the void upon you.
