It was bound to happen eventually.

There's another Kobe Bryant making highlights on a basketball court. This one is in seventh grade, and yes, that's really his name.

It could make things confusing down the road, but for now, it's just a fascinating and intriguing storyline for a young hooper.

This Kobe has gone a bit viral lately for some solid highlights on social media:

The AAU team that young Kobe plays for is Next Page Force, based out of Little Rock, Arkansas.

It's actually an organization that former NBA center Kendrick Perkins has coached for, although not this particular age group.

There's clearly a long way to go, and aside from pun reasons, no one will be anointing anyone as "the next Kobe" anytime soon.

It's certainly quite the nomenclature to live up to. It also likely creates odd questions about whether he's the NBA legend's son.

Despite there being no relation as far as we can tell, there's certainly going to be an extra presence looming over this young Kobe as long as he's a basketball player. It's quite the massive legacy to live up to from the moment he was given this name.
